Nathan's Profile

Nathan has been playing a variety of sports since a young age. It was football that he had the best natural skills as a fast paced left-footed winger, there was a conflict though as he developed a love of Cricket and played for Exeter before moving onto playing for other local based Clubs. His most notable success was as a bowler where his best figures were 5 wickets for 4 runs. Nathan played in the same side as an England youth international.

Nathan was also a fairly decent runner at school age coming in the top 15 in the annual cross country races with over 400 other runners, competing in long distance races and spent some time training with Exeter Harriers athletics club and later a local running club preparing for entry into the Navy.

Injury in recent years has meant that Nathan's running activities are very limited although he hopes to get fit this year and enter the Great West Run in 2011.

Nowadays Nathan does a lot of gym work based exercise and is currently working in Exeter as a Personal Trainer, he specialises in weight loss and has had some great success and is currently volunteering his expertise to train someone to lose three stone in aid of a local cancer charity. Nathan really enjoys seeing the benefits that exercise has on those just starting out and believes that the psychological benefits of exercise should never be underestimated, as such Nathan has started to write a lot of articles to open up exercise as a lifestyle necessity to all.
